Background

Michelle is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist who has extensive experience for more than 25 years in the area of mental health within the public sector and more recently in private practice. She is a trauma informed therapist who combines her knowledge of both clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology to inform her work. She sees  young adults, adults and older adults who experience a wide  range of issues including complex trauma, depression, anxiety grief, life transitions, existential issues etc . 

Dr Reid also provides services to people with acquired brain injury, including a range of neuro-degenerative disorders such as the various dementias, Parkinson’s Disease, pain  and other challenges that can occur in later life. She also conducts neuropsychological assessments for medico-legal claims. She  supervisors Doctoral and Masters students and registrars of clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology. She is also a RANZCP approved psychotherapy supervisor.
